Originally intended dual and triple-combination formulations for jet nebulizers could be successfully delivered by the three mesh nebulizers used in this study. Performance assessment showed that the fastest mesh nebulizer that presented better aerosol characteristics was Pulmogine, nebulizing both formulations in less than half of the time required by the jet nebulizer.
