In this study, delivery of IFN-β-1b was assessed with two mesh nebulizers, a continuous output mode device and a breath-actuated nebulizer. The objective was to compare drug delivery efficiency under the two delivering modes and evaluate their aerosol performance and collection post-nebulization to investigate the capabilities of mesh technology to deliver IFN-β-1b.
